The Senator representing Oyo South senatorial district, Senator Sarafadeen Alli, on Wednesday hailed Nigerian workers for their dedication, sacrifice and roles in the Nigeria project.

Senator Alli in a message by his Special Adviser on Media, Akeem Abas, to commemorate this year’s International Workers Day, disclosed that better days were ahead for Nigeria.

According to the Chairman Senate Committee on Election Matters, Nigerian workers played crucial roles in driving progress and prosperity of the country.

He stressed that the significance of their efforts in shaping the socio-economic landscape cannot be over emphasised.

“On this auspicious occasion of Workers’ Day, I commend the selfless dedication, hard work, and sacrifices of workers in the state. I acknowledge your pivotal role in driving progress and sustaining the fabric of our society”, he said.

The Senator added, “I reaffirm my solidarity with all workers and express my profound gratitude for their tireless efforts in advancing the collective prosperity and well-being of the state”.

While recognising the challenges and uncertainties that workers often face in the course of their responsibilities, he charged them to remain steadfast in their pursuit of excellence, resilience, and professionalism. 

Senator Alli who also urged the Nigerian workers to persevere and uphold diligence in discharging their duties with unwavering commitment as well as dedication, Senator Alli lauded their resilience and determination that characterise the spirit of the Nigerian workforce.

He, however, reassured the workers of his unwavering support and commitment to advocating for policies and initiatives that would promote the welfare and well-being of workers across the state.

Senator Alli reiterated his dedication to championing the interests of workers, advocating for improved working conditions, fair compensation, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
